He was born in the family of an artist in Leningrad in 1951.
Graduated the Art – Industrial school ,named after Mukhina, the department of Cloth design, speciality – Cloth designer.
Was a student of A. B. Grushko, who was a follower and a student of Kuzma Petrov – Vodkin.
Was practicing before the diploma at Moscow fashion house led by V. Zaitsev.
His diploma project “Olympiad – 80” was acknowledged the best for ten years of working of clothes design chair.
After graduating, he worked at the Applied art department of Art fund of Russian Federation.
Took part in decorating of the temporal exhibitions and museums of the former Soviet Union

When the Soviet Union broke up he began his creative activity in the sphere of abstract drawing and painting.
In 1995 he was invited to work for two months in CIRC – Russian art fund in Amsterdam, thanks to the fund of prince Bernard (the Netherlands)
Since 1997 he became a member of the Artists Union of Russian Federation.
Since 1997 his works are exhibited both in Russia and abroad annually:
