The artist arrived to Holland in 90-s by the invitation of "Holland-Hermiage"venture created under the supervision of the Prince Bernard Foundation.Lived & worked in the residence CIRC(Center of International Russian Culture)in Amsterdam,led be Pauline Mighelsen. Resinence accomodaion finally should be accompanied by exhibition & Simon Gulyako showed typical Russian feature to "NEVER GIVE UP" & presened 20 graphical lists. Our gallery met some difficulties in attempt to collect & present the works of the period because of incredibly demanded among collectors, but we found 10 works.They are presented in "Dutch series" exhibition. Dynamic contrast coloured penetrated with the feel of european freedom & sence of a new life works are presented by the artist, who have come from the country touched by PERESTROIKA.This works were exhibited many times in he Central exhibitional hall "MANEGE","Matiss club","SPAS","Molbert"art galleries ,scandalously closed exhibition"RETROSPECTIVE"in the Museum Of Modern Art named after Diagelev of the SPB Sate University.& many others ."In these works I tryed to reflect the nerve of my native ciy St.Petersburg" said Simon Gulyako himself.
